Dental Veneers
Cancun Dental Art offers 3 types of veneers:
Composite Veneers
Experience a direct, artistic, handcrafted technique that doesn’t require altering your natural tooth. Our procedure is done directly on the tooth, and you can complete the treatment in just a 3 to 4 hour appointment. The durability of our treatment typically ranges from 8 to 11 years, depending on your eating habits and oral hygiene. We provide three high-quality aesthetic composite options: Nanotech Diamond, Porcelain Diamond, and Zirconium Diamond.
Veneers:
Aesthetic veneers, using a direct technique (without altering the natural tooth), involve applying a layer to the front surface of the visible teeth, those that are on display when you smile or speak. These veneers are made from highly aesthetic materials, featuring nano particles of diamond combined with zirconium compounds, consisting of 76% organic material, ceramic, or carbon compounds. They are designed to enhance the appearance of your smile in terms of shape, color, texture, alignment, and position, providing a healthy, clean, and lustrous look in a range of white aesthetic shades. These materials are directly imported from Germany, known for its advanced technology, ensuring long-lasting durability for our treatment, as long as you follow the guidelines provided by our specialists to maintain a healthy and flawless smile.
NANOHYBRID
is a carbon compound with nano technology and artisanal nano filling of High Aesthetics, with a wear resistance of 90% compared to natural teeth, it handles white and natural colors, these colors are translucent.
PORCELAIN
ZIRCONIUM
Composite Veneers
Composite is a highly aesthetic material that matches the natural color of teeth and is frequently utilized for the front surfaces (veneers) of teeth visible when you smile. Although Composite veneers may have a shorter lifespan compared to Ceramic veneers, they offer easier repair options and are a more cost-effective choice.”
Although Composite veneers (direct technique) typically have a shorter lifespan than Ceramic (lab-made) veneers (indirect technique), we offer an affordable and convenient option that requires a much smaller investment of time and money. They are a particularly useful option to repair aesthetic damage and correct problems with the size and shape of the teeth, which can be maintained once a year and maintained for a long period of time and with excellent hygiene and eating habits they could reach last between 8 and 11 years
Composite Veneers FAQ
Composite veneers, are an alternative to porcelain finish with a slight translucent due to their high ceramic content and meticulously sculpted and hardened by your dentist, typically in a single appointment. If you have worn, chipped, or damaged teeth, composite can be directly sculpted onto the teeth for exponential results. This is a separate procedure from a dental crown, dental bridge, or dental fillings. While they use the same materials, composite veneers are more functional than aesthetic treatments.
They’re used to correct discolored, gapped, crooked, or misshapen teeth. The veneer is placed over the imperfect teeth and given the appearance of straight, white, radiant teeth.
Often referred to as “chair-side veneers,” composite veneers are designed by the dentist directly on your tooth, requiring a dentist’s technique combined with an artist’s eye. Typically, composite veneers can be placed in just one visit, but laboratory veneers usually require multiple visits before being placed.
During your appointment, with your input, your dentist will select and sculpt a shade directly onto your teeth to build a veneer that best fits your smile. Then, a high-intensity light will be used to harden the composite. Finally, the composite resin will be shined and polished until it blends in with the natural, healthy appearance of the rest of your smile.
This depends on several factors, including the patient’s home care routine and how often they attend checkups (we recommend twice a year, at least). If you maintain a strict and comprehensive routine, your composite veneers can last at least 5 years and as long as 10!
Their care requires the same care that you’re natural teeth required. Over time, they will be affected by darker liquids and hard objects like ice and hard candy. Regular visits to the dentist every six months will break the longevity of your veneers with a deep cleaning and maintenance since the bacterial plaque that is the saliva that dries in the mouth, due to not having a correct brushing before bed and flossing , can form a film of plaque that takes on color depending on eating habits, and the use of a protector to sleep for patients with prostheses in the arch opposite the veneer or patients with bruxism problems, since this causes edge wear top of the tooth when you sleep and it’s going to hammer on the veneer at night and it’s going to chip just like it did on the natural tooth.
Composite veneers are a great alternative to laboratory veneers and can right many of your smile’s wrongs. Customers also like them because they are not time-consuming or pricey, they are minimally invasive, and because they give your teeth that lifelike sheen they once had!
Dental composite is a special material that is applied and sculpted to the tooth. Once the optimal tooth shape has been achieved, it is cured with a special light and subsequently polished. Composite materials are extremely advanced and are continuously being developed to produce better results for patients. Composite veneers are a relatively new dental procedure, favored by recent dental generations interested in conserving the underlying tooth structure.
Consider composite veneers over laboratory veneers if you:
- Are looking for affordable laboratory veneer alternatives
- Want an improved smile for a wedding or other special event
- Want the convenience of a same-day placement
- Desire a less-invasive procedure to retain more tooth structure
- Would like veneers that can be repaired quickly and easily if damaged
- A straighter, more attractive smile
- Brighter, natural-looking teeth
- A continuous, uninterrupted smile
- A stronger tooth structure to prevent further damage
Composite white fillings offer the ability to effectively deal with cavities while maintaining the cosmetic appeal of a bright, white smile. Benefits of Composite White Fillings
- Created to match your tooth to ensure a natural look and feel
- Because composite fillings can be created for smaller restorations, less of your tooth structure is lost and less drilling is needed
- The material is made from acrylic and glass particles, containing no mercury or other metals
- Provides support to remaining tooth structure and insulates against temperature changes
- First, the targeted tooth is prepared by removing decay.
- Next, a bonding agent is applied to the prepared tooth.
- The composite material is placed and molded to your tooth structure.
- The material is hardened by focusing intense light rays on it for about a minute (the time required may vary according to each patient’s needs and specific dental condition). The filling is now complete and you have a bright, natural-looking new tooth! Your filling brightness can be maintained by simply practicing good oral hygiene and avoiding staining food and drinks such as coffee, soda, tea, etc.
For cosmetic contouring, a dental instrument is used to eliminate imperfections by reducing parts of the tooth’s surface. It is a generally painless procedure for correcting several types of dental irregularities, including:
- Long teeth
- Minor chips in the teeth
- Irregularly shaped teeth
- Slightly overlapping teeth If you have uneven teeth and are unhappy with the way your smile looks, cosmetic dental contouring might be a good option for you.
Laboratory veneers
Procedure your first consultation
The initial step for each patient involves a consultation with one of our expert specialist dentists. During this consultation, we will assess your smile, discuss your desired outcomes, present your available options, and guide you through the application process. Porcelain veneers can effectively address various issues, including:
- Discolored teeth
- Worn-down teeth
- Chipped or broken teeth
- Misaligned, uneven, or irregularly shaped teeth
- Gaps in teeth
When deciding between laboratory veneers and composite veneers, it’s important to consider your preferences. Composite veneers involve the application of shaded resin to the teeth, which is then shaped, sculpted, and polished to achieve a natural look. These veneers are easier to apply and typically come at a lower cost. On the other hand, porcelain veneers offer greater durability and a longer lifespan, often lasting nearly twice as long.

What Does a Smile Makeover Correct?
Smile makeovers utilize a variety of cosmetic dental procedures to make you feel more confident and better looking. When you book a smile makeover consultation at Cancun Dental Art your dentist will suggest a variety of procedures to make you feel more confident and better looking, including the following:
* Matching Tooth Color: Metallic dental fillings can be replaced by natural, tooth-colored restorations that match the color of surrounding teeth. Tooth color and shading are important to consider before procedures like porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges, composite bonding, and dental implants. Teeth whitening is often recommended as a way to fix discolored teeth.
* Alignment and Spacing: Crooked, overlapping, or gapped teeth can be straightened and aligned, when necessary, through orthodontics, or improved with veneers.
* Replacing Missing Teeth: One or more missing teeth may negatively impact your appearance, affect your bite, and increase your risk for tooth decay, making replacement an integral part of oral health and facial esthetics. You can replace missing teeth via dental implants, bridges, or partial dentures.
